Evolution of Finite Populations in Dynamic Environments

In my Ph D thesis, I have constructed Markov models of small evolving populations, and studied their behavior in dynamically changing fitness environments. As such, we are able to study the evolutionary behavior of small populations in environments with explicitly changing fitness environments, in evolutionary game theory, and in co-evolution. We are also able to compare the behavior of infinitely large populations in such environments with the behavior of small populations.

I have successfully defended my thesis on July 5, 2005 at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. My advisors were prof. dr. Peter A.J. Hilbers, prof. dr. Emile H.L. Aarts and dr. ir. Huub M. M. ten Eikelder.
